Winning Workers

"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he that winneth souls is wise" (Proverbs 11:30). "We then, as workers together with Him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)" (2 Corinthians 6:1,2).

The grace of God has been received,
But will it be in vain?
Salvation came when we believed,
But souls unsaved remain!

Are we recipients of grace,
With blessings so sublime,
Who do not understand our place
As workers in this time?

The God of grace has called us now
Into His harvest fields:
We know by grace He will endow
The fruit our labor yields!

Together with You, Lord, we stand
To labor while we may;
By grace we follow Your command
While it is called Today.
