God is Good

Read:  Psalm 25 / Proverbs 31 / Isaiah 35 /Acts 3

Psalm 25:8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

Proverbs 31:8 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.

Isaiah 35:3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

Acts 3:26 God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

How good and upright is the Lord

Who teaches sinners in His way.

The judgment that He could reward

Is stayed for those who humbly pray.

So let us strengthen weakened hands,

Confirming hearts and feeble knees,

For God is good who now commands

That men turn from iniquities.

Christ and Creator

Read:  Psalm 24 / Proverbs 30 / Isaiah 34 /Acts 2

Psalm 24:1,3 The earth is the LORD'S and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein… Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?

Proverbs 30:4-5 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended?... who hath established all the ends of the earth?... He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD… no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

Acts 2:32-33 This Jesus hath God raised up… we all are witnesses. Therefore, being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

The earth belongs to Jesus Christ,

For He created all we see.

He was for sinners sacrificed,

And by His truth, He makes us free.

These things were written in God’s Book

With prophecies that found their mate.

How wonderful it is to look

At Christ who came with love so great!

Shall Behold my Shepherd's Beauty

Read:  Psalm 23 / Proverbs 29 / Isaiah 33 /Acts 1

Psalm 23:1-4 The LORD is my Shepherd… he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

Isaiah 33:17 Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

My Shepherd leads me in the path

Of righteousness for His name’s sake.

He died to rescue me from wrath;

I shall behold Him when I wake.

I’ll see the beauty of my King;

My heart awaits that joyful hour.

The time is short for witnessing

To publish peace with saving power.
