Satisfied with His Salvation

Read:  Psalm 81 / Proverbs 28 / Exodus 26 / 2 Corinthians 6

Psalm 81:16 He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.
Proverbs 28:25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
Exodus 26:33-34 The veil shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.  And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
2 Corinthians 6:2,17 Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation... Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

Why would I look for satisfaction
In things that soon will turn to dust?
At best, they serve as a distraction;
At worst, they shall betray my trust!

The Lord has torn away the veil,
And I have heard His invitation.
His promises shall never fail;
I'm satisfied with His salvation.

Champion between the Cherubim

Read:  Psalm 80 / Proverbs 27 / Exodus 25 / 2 Corinthians 5

Psalm 80:1,19  Thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth... Let Thy hand be upon the Man of thy right hand, upon the Son of Man whom thou madest strong for Thyself.
Proverbs 27:11,23 My son, be wise, and make my heart glad...  Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks.
Exodus 25:22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims... of all things which I will give thee.
2 Corinthians 5:21 He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

As we commune with Elohim,
We celebrate our Champion.
He dwells between the cherubim;
He is the Father's righteous Son.

Behold Him at the mercy seat
Where cherubim are face to face.
He bids us there with Him to meet
As He displays His truth and grace.

Heroic Helper

Read:  Psalm 79 / Proverbs 26 / Exodus 24 / 2 Corinthians 4

Psalm 79:9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.
Proverbs 26:2 The curse causeless shall not come.
Exodus 24:8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 If our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Heroic Helper, Jesus Christ,
You rescued us who had been cursed.
O Lamb of God, once sacrificed,
We love You, for You loved us first!

How brightly has Your Gospel shined
On helpless sinners such as us.
We now can see, who once were blind,
Your grace and truth so glorious!

Gloom to Glory

Read:  Psalm 78 / Proverbs 25 / Exodus 23 / 2 Corinthians 3

Psalm 78:70-72 He chose David also his servant... So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.
Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.
Exodus 23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Our way which had begun with gloom
Was growing darker on our path,
As we were marching to the tomb
And then would face God's dreadful wrath.

But God has changed our gloom to glory
As we have searched and found our Savior,
And He unfolds His great love story
In us who now reflect His favor.

Time to Talk

Read:  Psalm 77 / Proverbs 24 / Exodus 22 / 2 Corinthians 2

Psalm 77:12 I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.
Proverbs 24:14 So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
Exodus 22:27,31  I will hear; for I am gracious... and ye shall be holy men unto me.
2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place.

It's time to talk about the things
That matter most eternally.
The message of the Gospel brings
Salvation's truth  that makes us free.

Give thanks to God for what Christ did
To make Himself our Hiding Place.
Why should His Gospel now be hid?
It's time to talk about His grace!

Exploring the Excellent

Read:  Psalm 76 / Proverbs 23 / Exodus 21 / 2 Corinthians 1

Psalm 76:4 Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
Proverbs 23 26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
Exodus 21:5-6 And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master... he shall serve him forever.
2 Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;.

The mountains may be glorious,
But Jesus Christ is so much more.
Behold my Lord victorious,
Whose lovingkindness I explore!

How excellent His mercy is
That draws my heart with love Divine!
It comforts me to know I'm His
And that forever He is mine.
