Worshiping vs. Wandering

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity... for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore" (Psalm 133:1,3).  "The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead" (Proverbs 21:16).  "Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto My sorrow" (Lamentations 1:12).  "Whosoever... abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God" (2 John 9).

Behold how very good it is
To be with those who worship Christ
In unity with all of His
For whom our Lord was sacrificed!

The Lord commands His blessing there:
His life in us forevermore!
Now let the wanderer beware
While Christ is knocking at the door.

As wanderers are passing by
Regarding not our Savior's sorrow,
The time draws near when they shall die
Without a moment more to borrow.

As in Your truth, Lord, we abide,
We worship You and also pray
For wanderers who turn aside
To turn to You while yet they may.
