"Thy Word is true from the beginning: and every one of Thy righteous judgments endureth forever" (Psalm 119:160). "My son, attend unto My wisdom, and bow thine ear to My understanding" (Proverbs 5:1). "Is there any Word from the LORD?" (Jeremiah 37:17). "The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy" (James 3:17).
The Word of our Savior is true
Forever and from the beginning
Which teaches us what we should do
With wisdom that keeps us from sinning.
How rightly we should be attending
The Word that our Lord is commanding!
His fountain of wisdom unending
Will give to our heart understanding.
When challenges to us arise
And questions within us are stirred,
There is no instruction so wise
As that which we find in God's Word.
O Lord, we're amazed at Your love
That we have begun to explore
Through wisdom that comes from above
Which flows from Your Word's endless store!
