"Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth forever" (Psalm 146:5,6). "Trust in the Lord... The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth... The LORD shall be thy Confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken" (Proverbs 3:5,19,26). "We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty... because Thou hast taken to Thee Thy great power, and hast reigned" (Revelation 11:17).
There
is no helper who is greater
Than
Christ, the One who made all things.
We
gladly trust in the Creator
Instead
of men, though they be kings.
The
Lord has made His power known
Abundantly
throughout creation.
We
rightly trust in Him alone
Who
keeps His promise of salvation.
In
Christ our God is our defense
Who
said we will not be forsaken.
In
Him we have our confidence,
Who
keeps our foot from being taken.
We
give You thanks, O Lord our Savior,
Creator
of the universe!
Our
confidence is in Your favor,
Since
You redeemed us from the curse.
