Almighty Awareness

"Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: let them praise the name of the LORD: for His name alone is excellent" (Psalm 148:13).  "For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He pondereth all his goings" (Proverbs 5:21).  "Thus saith the LORD... I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them" (Ezekiel 11:5).  "Here is the patience and the faith of the saints... Here is wisdom" (Revelation 13:10,18).

Let men and women, young and old,  

Lift up their voices to proclaim 

The excellence that they behold

In Christ as they exalt His name. 

Not everyone shall give Him praise;

For some will choose to be unwise.   

The Lord is pondering our ways,

For none are hid before His eyes. 

The things that come into our mind,

Yes, every one, to God are known. 

As God has said, so we shall find

That we shall reap what we have sown. 

Almighty God, You are aware

Of faith and patience in each heart,

So search our ways and thus prepare

Our hearts for wisdom You impart.
