"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19).
The Lord commands us to repent
That He may thereby send His blessing
With His conversion that is sent
To bring the times of His refreshing.
That sins may all be blotted out,
That joy may flow eternally,
That we may not be chained to doubt,
Repentance makes us truly free.
O Lord, we have received Your grace,
Though we deserved Your condemnation.
Our refuge is in Your embrace;
Refreshment is in Your salvation.
