"But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all Thy works" (Psalm 73:28). "But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto Me, both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" (Acts 1:8).
To draw near to our God is good;
In fact, it's mandatory
To serve Him as we know we should
And to declare His glory.
The Holy Spirit lives in all
Who have His second birth
And gives His power with His call
To preach throughout the earth.
The gates of hell at last must fail;
Their tempest shall be stilled.
Against the church they'll not prevail,
Which Christ Himself shall build.
O Lord, we thank You for Your love
And for Your mighty power
Extended to us from above,
Prevailing every hour!
