"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!... For there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life forevermore" (Psalm 133:1,3). "The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day" (Proverbs 4:18). "The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him" (Isaiah 56:8). "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles" (1 Corinthians 12:13).
How
good and how pleasant it is
Together
to worship our Savior.
Assured
by the fact we are His,
He
unifies us with His favor.
We're
placed on the path of His light
That
shines more and more every day,
Since
Christ's soon return is in sight,
No
matter what scoffers may say.
The
grace of our Lord has sufficed
For
both Jew and Gentile to meet
Together,
now gathered to Christ,
To
worship in fellowship sweet.
How pleasantly
placed we are, Lord,
As Your Holy Spirit
deems best,
In one body, in
one accord,
In Your perfect
purpose and rest.
