"They… required of us a song… How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land?" (Psalm 137:3,4). "Whoso findeth Me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD. But he that sinneth against Me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate Me love death" (Proverbs 8:35,36). "Behold, the darkness shall cover the earth… but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee" (Isaiah 60:2). "A great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries" (1 Corinthians 16:9).
The
situations that we see
Within
this strange and troubled land,
Present
an opportunity:
A
door that's opened by God's hand.
We
do not choose the circumstance
Confronting
us with tribulation,
But
we may seize the moment's chance
To
show God's promise of salvation.
As
we behold the darkness now
Destroying
many with seduction,
Our
faithful Savior shows us how
To
shine the light of His instruction.
O
Lord, as we observe each door
Of
opportunity today
Which
You have opened to explore,
We
follow as You lead the way.
