Healing from Heaven

"The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion" (Psalm 134:3).  "For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He pondereth all his goings" (Proverbs 5:21).  "Thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones… I have seen his ways, and will heal him" (Isaiah 57:15,18).  "Charity never faileth" (1 Corinthians 13:8). 

There's healing for the soul that's wandered

Extended now from heaven's throne,  

For all the ways of man are pondered

By God, who makes His mercy known. 

For though the Lord is lifted high,

Inhabiting eternity,

For us He came to earth to die,

As was foretold in prophecy. 

Though in the high and holy place,

Christ also dwells in humble hearts

To heal them with heaven's grace

And with revival He imparts. 

We thank You, Lord, for heaven's healing

Through love for us which never fails,

For when we stray, You still are dealing

With lovingkindness that prevails.
