"Marvelous are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well… How precious also are Thy thoughts unto me, O God!" (Psalm 139:14,17). "The labor of the righteous tendeth to life… The lips of the righteous feed many" (Proverbs 10:16,21). "Ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence… The LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world… thy salvation" (Isaiah 62:6,11). "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ… but as of God, in the sight of God, speak we in Christ" (2 Corinthians 2:14,17).
The works of God
are marvelous,
And that our
soul knows very well!
How precious are
His thoughts to us
Which He
commissioned us to tell!
Our labor and
our lips proclaim
The Gospel of our
precious Savior.
There surely is
no other name
By which the
Lord bestows His favor.
The Lord
commands us now to speak;
We would not
therefore silent be
As souls are
sent to us who seek
The Gospel truth
that makes us free!
O Lord, this precious
proclamation
Expels the
darkness with Your light.
As we declare
Your great salvation,
We triumph only through
Your might.
