"Thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in Thy truth" (Psalm 26:3). "A Friend loveth at all times, and a Brother is born for adversity" (Proverbs 17:17). "Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not" (Jeremiah 33:3). "He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all them that believe… that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in Him, according to the grace of our God" (2 Thessalonians 1:10,12).
The
lovingkindness of our Lord
Has been displayed
before our eyes.
His faithfulness
has been explored,
Revealing love
that never dies.
He saw our daunting
list of crimes
Demanding wrath
eternally,
Yet still He
loved us at all times
And bore for us
sin's penalty.
We see these
great and mighty things
Of grace that
God extends to all.
The beauty of
the King of kings
Is shown to those
who on Him call.
Lord, we were
once beset with blindness,
But You have
given to us sight.
Now looking at
Your lovingkindness,
We worship You with
great delight!
