"The King of glory shall come in" (Psalm 24:9). "The way of life is above to the wise" (Proverbs 15:24 ). "I have loved thee with an everlasting love… There is hope in thine end, saith the LORD" (Jeremiah 31:3,17). "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17).
The
King of glory shall come in,
But
not in meekness as a lamb
As
when Christ suffered for our sin,
But
as the glorious great "I AM"!
The
life we live while on this earth
Should
focus on the things above
To
show the blessings of new birth,
The
hope of everlasting love.
There
is assurance in the end
That
leaves no room for any doubt:
The
Lord Himself shall soon descend
And
we'll be caught up with His shout!
O
Christ, we know with us You'll come
When
tribulation years are through
To
reign in the millennium,
Then
evermore, we'll be with You!
