Prohibition of Partiality

"The LORD looketh from heaven; He beholdeth all the sons of men… He fashioneth their hearts alike; He considereth all their works... Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy; to deliver their soul from death" (Psalm 33:13,15,18,19).  "These things also belong to the wise.  It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment" (Proverbs 24:23).  "I charge thee before God… that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality" (1 Timothy 5:21).

The Lord is looking from above
On every heart that He has made.
To each one He extends His love,
So clearly on the cross displayed.

He gives to all their life and breath,
And He instructs with godly fear
As He delivers souls from death
Who hope in mercy and draw near.

The Lord is merciful and good
To all, as seen at Calvary.
Let this be wisely understood:
He has no partiality.

O Lord, with You there's none preferred;
No partiality is found!
This prohibition in Your Word
Is first and foremost in You found.
