Give Back as God Blessed

"Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty… glory and strength… The LORD will give strength unto His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace" (Psalm 29:1,11).  "The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the gray head" (Proverbs 20:29).  "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.  Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth… a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on Him to life everlasting" (1 Timothy 1:15-17). 

Give back to God as He has blessed;

We give from what He freely gave. 

He gives His peace, His strength, and rest

To every soul that He will save. 

Let strength be given back in youth

To God as we are Spirit-led.

Let wisdom blossom forth with truth

As grayness crowns the hoary head. 

Give glory now, at any price,

To Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior,

Who died to be a Sacrifice

For sinners who obtain His favor.

What is our life, O Lord, unless

We give You back what You gave first?

We give because You chose to bless

And save our souls which had been cursed!
