Wisely Working

"All men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of His doing" (Psalm 64:9).  "Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death... He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame" (Proverbs 10:2,5).  "The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem" (Amos 1:2).  "Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3).

The day shall come when all shall fear
And then declare the work of God.
That day is ever drawing near
When earth shall see His judgment rod.

The treasures found in wickedness
Cannot deliver souls at last,
For in the end, they're profitless
When harvest days on earth are past.

Our Savior came once as the Lamb;
He'll come again as Judah's Lion.
Returning as the great "I Am,"
Our mighty Lord will roar from Zion.

Lord, let us by Your grace be sent
To wisely work for souls You cherish,
For yet except they shall repent,
The day shall come when they shall perish.
