Harvest the Hopeless

Read:  Psalm 112 / Proverbs 10 / Isaiah 58 / John 15

Psalm 112:4 ~ Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion… righteous.

Proverbs 10:5 ~ He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

Isaiah 58:8 ~ Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and… the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

John 15:22-24 ~ If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin… If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

The light in darkness shall arise

To all who call on Jesus’ name.

The harvest waits!  We lift our eyes

To hopeless souls for whom He came.

Indeed, if Jesus had not come,

Then we would hopelessly be lost.

Let us by every means save some

As we proclaim salvation’s cost!
