John 10:14,15 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine… I lay down my life for the sheep.
The gentleness of God is seen
In friendship closer than a brother.
Who else, like Him, would intervene
For sinners, unlike any other?
The friendship of the Lord was shown
When Jesus died for wayward sheep.
The faithfulness of Christ is known
By promises He lives to keep.
