Sweeter Simplicity

Read:  Psalm 22 / Proverbs 28 / Isaiah 32 /John 21 

 Psalm 22:26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live forever.

Proverbs 28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

Isaiah 32:2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

John 21:21,22 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

 

How good it is to seek the Lord,

That we may understand His grace. 

His beauty that we have explored

Has drawn our hearts to seek His face. 

 

“And what shall this man do?” said Peter.

The Lord said, “What is that to thee?”

Simplicity was never sweeter:  

We follow Christ who makes us free!
