To humble hearts,
the Lord is near,
But He resists the
heart of pride.
The problem that
the Lord makes clear
Is arrogance He
sees inside.
The Pharisee who
proudly prayed
Was wise in his
own estimation.
The humble
publican displayed
The truth securing
his salvation.
