Greatly and Graciously

Read:  Psalm 21 / Proverbs 27 / Isaiah 31 /John 20

Psalm 21:1,4 The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!... He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him…length of days forever and ever.

Proverbs 27:1,23 Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth… Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.

Isaiah 31:6 Turn ye unto him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.

John 20:17,20 Go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God… When… he shewed unto them his hands and his side… then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

How greatly does our heart rejoice

In all that God so freely gave!

How graciously He gives the choice

To trust in Christ who lives to save!

The Lord has limited our days,

So let salvation be proclaimed

With evidence that He displays

To preach His Gospel unashamed.
