"But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them... and deliver them: He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him" (Psalm 37:39,40). "Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us" (Daniel 3:17). "They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" (Mark 2:17).
In
time of trouble, God is there
To
help us in our situation.
He
hears us when we lift our prayer
And
rescues us with His salvation.
Our
God in whom we trust is able
To
manifest that He is strong.
He
spreads for us His banquet table
And
shields us from every wrong.
Our
Savior knew our troubled path
In
sin that called for judgment's sentence.
He
came to save our souls from wrath
And
lead us forth in true repentance.
O
Lord, our time of trouble came
When
sin had worsened our condition.
We
thank You that You bore our shame
And
thus became our soul's Physician!
