“The
LORD hath made known his salvation: His righteousness hath He openly showed in
the sight of the heathen” (Psalm 98:2).
“If any man teach otherwise… he is proud, knowing nothing, but doting
about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings,
evil surmisings, perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of
the truth … from such withdraw thyself… O Timothy, keep that which is committed
to thy trust, avoiding profane and
vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called” (1 Timothy
6:3-5,20).
Sensible
science considers the facts,
And
these are the truths God has openly shown.
God
hasn’t hidden His marvelous acts:
By
cause and effect He has made Himself known.
Historical
science is seen in salvation,
Foretold
in the Scriptures our Savior fulfilled.
Creation’s
true science, by clear observation,
Demands
an omniscient Creator to build.
O
Lord, we give thanks for the sensible science
In
all of the heavens and earth now displayed!
We
find no excuse for the willful defiance
Of
those unconvinced by the things You have made.
