“Give unto the
LORD glory and strength. Give unto the
LORD the glory due unto His
name” (Psalm 96:7,8). “Neglect not the
gift that is in thee… Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them” (1
Timothy 4:14,15).
Neglect
not to give to the Lord all your heart,
And
give Him the glory and strength He is due.
The
Lord still examines our most inward part,
And
nothing is hidden from His holy view.
Neglect
not the gift that is in you by grace
Which
God has imparted to you with salvation.
Consider
His cause in this brief time and place,
And
prayerfully seek Him in your meditation.
O
Lord, You left all of Your splendor above
To
lay down Your life for the souls You would save.
So
teach us to live in the light of Your love
And
fully surrender the life that You gave.
