“He
hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our
iniquities. For as the heaven is high
above the earth, so great is His
mercy toward them that fear Him. As far
as the east is from the west, so
far hath He removed our transgressions from us.
Like as a father pitieth his
children, so the LORD pitieth
them that fear Him” (Psalm 103:10-13).
Thank
God that He does not reward
Our
sins, which He reproves.
Behold
His blessings on us poured
And
judgment He removes!
As
high as heaven up above,
As
far as east from west,
As
tender as Father’s love,
Our
God has greatly blessed!
We
thank You, Lord, that You would pay
Our
penalty for sin
To
take our sins’ reward away
And
pour Your blessings in.
