"Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: that ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 15:5,6).
Consider the patience of God that we find:
What great consolation we have in His love!
So should His people with one mouth and mind
Now glorify God in Christ Jesus above.
Sometimes it's hard to have likeminded hearts
With other believers with differing views,
Yet with the likeminded love God imparts,
We may with one mouth proclaim the good news.
O Lord, help us focus on our common ground:
Christ Jesus is Lord and alone is our Savior!
So may a likeminded passion be found
With Your love beheld in our words and behavior.
