"Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou ordained strength because of Thine enemies, that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger" (Psalm 8:2).
Out of the mouth of children ordained
The Lord has prepared His victorious defense.
Children who are in the Word of God trained
Will answer His enemies with confidence.
O Lord, give us children in our day to stand
Against adversaries rejecting Your will.
Hold up these little ones with Your mighty hand,
To answer the rebels, that they may be still.
And Lord, give us wisdom to train them aright,
As arrows a mighty man shoots to prevail
To speak in the gate with Your foes in the fight,
Assured by Your mercy that they shall not fail.
