"The words of the LORD are pure words" (Psalm 12:6). "Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones" (Proverbs 16:24).
The words of the Lord are pleasant and pure,
With sweetness and health for the soul.
Their message provides the medicinal cure
To satisfy, save, and make whole.
The words of the Lord are able to save
And heal us when we receive
The Savior who died and rose from the grave
To ransom all those who believe.
The words of the Lord are a lamp to our feet
And a light that leads all the way home.
Lord, thank You for words that are healthy and sweet,
Which are likened to Your honeycomb.
