Orchestrated by Omniscience

"Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me" (Psalm 131:1,2). "And the night following, the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of Me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome" (Acts 23:11).

My life is like a tapestry
Designed with heaven's love;
It's like a brilliant symphony
Composed by God above.

Omniscience surely orchestrated
My personal salvation,
No less than when the Lord created
The work of all creation.

Reflecting on His work of grace
When sorrows had their season,
I know these also had their place
For God's omniscient reason.

The hand of God was on Paul's life,
In every trial near.
The Lord stood by him in the strife,
And gave to him good cheer.

And though I can't compare to Paul,
I am no less assured
That in my life God orders all
According to His Word.

I thank You, Lord, and well I should,
For how You orchestrate
The matters of my life for good,
In all things small and great.
