Understanding Unbelief

"Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things" (Proverbs 28:5). "For what if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and overcome when Thou art judged" (Romans 3:3,4).

The evidence that God is true
Has surely never lacked,
And unbelief cannot undo
That never-changing fact.

Those who truly seek the Lord
Will understand and find
The truth that others have ignored
Who willfully are blind.

We know the truth that God inspires
Forevermore shall reign,
And all who disagree are liars,
And unbelief is vain.

We thank You, Lord, for absolutes
Above this world's opinion
Because Your truth has solid roots
In Your supreme dominion.
