When searching
for wisdom's true source,
We know where it
CANNOT be found:
It's higher than
mortals, of course!
In Christ wisdom's
treasures abound.
The fear of the
Lord is the path
That leads us to
wisdom's true place,
For thereby we
flee from God's wrath
And rest in His
marvelous grace.
Our Lord's
illustration was sweet
Regarding the
wisdom we need:
Like Mary, we
sit at His feet
To hear Him in
Scriptures we read.
In You, Lord, we
find the location
Where wisdom at
last is revealed
That offers to all
Your salvation
Whereby we forever
are healed.
