"Oh that one would hear me! Behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me" (Job 31:35). "God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause His face to shine upon us… that Thy way may be known upon earth, Thy saving health among all nations" (Psalm 67:1,2). "Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding… The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy is understanding" (Proverbs 9:6,10). "Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3,5).
The
Lord Almighty answers those
Who
humbly seek to find His grace.
The
counsel that He will disclose
Is
heard when sinners seek His face.
The
answer of Almighty God
Is
in the Gospel's declaration.
Though
we deserve His judgment rod,
He
will impart His great salvation.
Today
the Lord is still commanding
That
all men everywhere repent.
This
is the way of understanding
That
shows God's merciful intent.
O
Lord Almighty, we have heard
Your
answer that amazes us!
The
saving health You have procured
To
ransom souls is marvelous!
