"By His Spirit He hath garnished the heavens; His hand hath formed the crooked serpent. Lo, these are parts of His ways: but how little a portion is heard of Him? But the thunder of his power who can understand?" (Job 26:13,14). "Power belongeth unto God. Also unto Thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy" (Psalm 62:11,12). "Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought Him that he might be with Him: but Jesus sent him away, saying, Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee" (Luke 8:38,39).
The stars that
were formed by God's hand
Proclaim only
parts of His ways.
His power we
scarce understand,
Since these only
whisper His praise!
How rightly we
tremble with awe
As we are
beholding creation,
Yet as we have pondered
His law,
His mercy displays
His salvation!
The demons were
chased from the man
The moment our
Savior said "Go."
How great is God's
merciful plan
That we are
commanded to show!
Lord, as we're
proclaiming Your power,
We're showing
Your mercy as well,
Since You have become
our strong Tower
And Refuge that
saves us from hell!
