"The inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding… I will open my lips and answer" (Job 32:8,20). "The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life" (Proverbs 10:11). "Yet there is room… Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in" (Luke 14:22,23).
God
gave His Word by inspiration
That
we may preach in every season
The
Word that offers His salvation
And
gives an answer for the reason.
How
great this invitation sounds
To
rebel sinners God calls too,
For
grace through Jesus Christ abounds
To
rebels just like me and you!
Our
mouth becomes a well of life
That
echoes heaven's gracious call,
For
Christ has triumphed in the strife
To
ransom sinners, one and all.
This
invitation that we send,
Inspired
by the Word You gave,
On
Your behalf, Lord, we extend
To
every soul You died to save.
