"It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter… so is good news from a far country" (Proverbs 25:2,25). "Wilt thou be made whole?... Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life… Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me" (John 5:6,24,39).
It
is God's glory to conceal
The
truth He calls us to search out.
To
those who search, He will reveal
His
Gospel that removes all doubt.
The
Lord resists the prideful soul,
But
to the humble heart He speaks
And
asks him, "Wilt thou be made whole?"
To
grant the healing that he seeks.
The
Good News of so great salvation,
Which
is concealed, shall be found
In
Scriptures through their revelation
Where
prophecies of Christ abound.
O
Lord, we see the time is short
To
search the Scriptures, and be saved.
So
help us faithfully report
The
truth which humble souls have craved.
