"Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know Him not see His days?" (Job 24:1). "Thou hast given a banner to them that fear Thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth" (Psalm 60:4). "My son, if thou wilt receive My words, and hide My commandments with thee… then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD" (Proverbs 2:1-5). "Can the blind lead the blind? Shall they not both fall into the ditch?... Why call ye Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" (Luke 6:39,46).
How
blind are men in these last days
To
truth that God has clearly shown:
The
prophecies that He displays
Have
been fulfilled, yet are not known!
The
banner that we have received
Displays
the truth fulfilled in Christ:
The
prophecies we have believed
Foretold
He would be sacrificed!
So
why do men not see today?
And
why do they refuse to hear?
They're
blind because they won't obey
The
Lord whom they refuse to fear!
How
blind to blessing which they need
Are
sinners, Lord, who could be rich!
We
pray for them and those they lead
Before
they fall into the ditch.
