“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with Thee? Mine hour is not yet come. His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it…. Jesus saith unto them, Fill the water pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim” (John 2:4-7).
The
Word of our Savior is faithful and true.
His
counsel is clear that will give us direction.
Whatever
He says to us, let us now do:
Obey
His instruction, and heed His correction.
What
does the Lord have to do in our life?
Let
us now listen to what He will say.
In
times of temptation, of toil, or strife,
His
counsel is waiting for those who obey.
Mary,
the mother of Christ, had it right,
Who
told them to do as commanded by Him.
This
is the counsel of unerring light
Securing
His blessing that’s filled to the brim.
Wonderful
Counselor, merciful Savior,
We
thank You that You have provided Your Word
To
lead in the path of Your marvelous favor
Extended
to those who will DO what they’ve heard.
