"The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes" (Psalm 19:8). "The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit" (Proverbs 12:5).
The statutes of the LORD are right,
And His commandments pure.
The truth is proven in His light,
Of that we may be sure!
Our thoughts shall also surely be
As right as God's own Word,
When we will read it faithfully,
Obeying what we've heard.
We thank You for the absolutes,
O Lord, that You reveal,
That give our thoughts eternal roots
In things forever real.
