Supremacy of His Sufficiency

"Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me" (Psalm 131:1). "He prepared the heavens... He set a compass on the face of the depth" (Proverbs 8:27). "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of His knowledge by us in every place.... And who is sufficient for these things?" (2 Corinthians 2:14-16).

And who is sufficient to bring forth creation,
Preparing the heavens and forming the earth?
Now thanks be to God for His manifestation:
He spoke, and creation by Him had its birth!

And who is sufficient, without contradiction,
To be Justifier, and still fully Just?
Now thanks be to God, who by His affliction,
Accomplished redemption for sinners like us!

And who is sufficient to make us victorious
And cause us to manifest Christ in each place?
Now thanks be to God! Come, make His praise glorious,
Supreme in His power, His truth, and His grace!
