Loyal Servant in the Lost Sheep

"I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Thy servant, for I do not forget Thy commandments" (Psalm 119:176). "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good" (Proverbs 15:3).

There is a servant in disguise
Within the sheep that strays.
Seek that servant, Lord, with eyes
That search and know my ways.

Lord, You know I am inclined
To wander on my own.
Renew in me a servant's mind;
Replace my heart of stone.

Let me come into the ranks
Of servants who are true;
And not with words alone give thanks,
But deeds I likewise do.

Seek Your servant, Lord; he's there
Beneath that straying lamb.
That bleating sound, O Lord, is prayer;
That sheep is who I am.
