"Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward" (2 John 8).
Look to yourself that you do not lose
The things you have wrought for the Lord.
Each day is a treasure that you ought to use
That you may receive full reward.
And what is the purpose? What is the gain,
The reward to be seeking in full?
To know that your life was not spent in vain,
But for Him who has ransomed your soul.
