True and Tried

Read:  Psalm 12 / Proverbs 10 / Deuteronomy 25 / Rev. 19 

 

Psalm 12:6,7 ~ The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever.

Proverbs 10:7 ~ The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.

Deuteronomy 25:10 ~ And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that hath his shoe loosed.

Revelation 19:12,13 ~ On his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.... and his name is called The Word of God.

 

The words of God are true and tried,

Preserved for every generation, 

Fulfilling what He prophesied,

Establishing His reputation. 

 

The liars many now applaud

Shall be exposed and put to shame. 

How faithful is the Word of God

That magnifies our Savior’s name!
