Divine Defender

Read:  Psalm 5 / Proverbs 3 / Deuteronomy 18 / Rev. 12

 

Psalm 5:11 ~ Let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Proverbs 3:5,6 ~ Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 

Deuteronomy 18:15 ~ The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken.

Revelation 12:10 ~ Now is come salvation... for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 

 

Let everyone who trusts in Christ

Rejoice in our Divine Defender,

Who for our sake was sacrificed

When He had set aside His splendor.

 

Though by the devil we're accused

Of many sins (the list is long),

His prosecution is refused,

For our defense by Christ is strong.
