Psalm 47:6,7 Sing praises to God… For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
Proverbs 10:13 In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found.
Zephaniah 1:7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand.
Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Sing praises to our God and King
As Scripture rightly is commanding.
The Lord is searching how we sing;
Let wisdom guide our understanding.
Be still, and know that we are spared
By Christ, who for our sake was cursed.
Our place in heaven is prepared
Because our Savior loved us first!
