"The floods have lifted up their voice… The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea" (Psalm 93:3,4). "I have led thee in right paths… The path of the just is as the shining light… The way of the wicked is as darkness" (Proverbs 4:11,18,19). "I found Him whom my soul loveth" (Song of Solomon 3:4). "These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).
The godless
loudly lift their voice
Incessantly like
crashing waves,
But God is
greater than their noise,
Declaring still
that Jesus saves!
The Lord is
leading souls aright
To show the way
of His salvation.
His path is as
the shining light;
The way is dark
to condemnation.
How good the news
is from above
That God has
sent to us a Savior!
Our soul has
found Him whom we love;
His love for us shall
never waver.
The godless
noise, Lord, does not cease,
But Good News even
so is clear:
Your words to us
convey Your peace
With joy that
triumphs in Your cheer!
