"Of old hast Thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of Thy hands… The children of Thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before Thee" (Psalm 102:25,28). "In that day shall the Branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious" (Isaiah 4:2). "Lord, Thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth… who by… David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?… Grant unto Thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak Thy Word" (Acts 4:24,29).
The Lord has
laid the earth's foundation;
The heavens by
His hands were made.
Behold His
beauty in creation
In all the
universe displayed!
Creation's work
is beautiful,
Yet by our sin,
we were estranged.
We needed Christ
to save our soul
So that our
nature could be changed.
The Lamb of God
victorious,
The Branch of
David, and his Root,
Is beautiful and
glorious,
And we, His
children, are His fruit!
O Lord, the
prophets had foretold
The beauty of
Your sacrifice,
So grant that we
may now be bold,
Since we are
bought with such a price!
