"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities" (Psalm 103:2,3). "The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death" (Proverbs 14:32). "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil… Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people" (Isaiah 5:20-25). "The God of our fathers raised up Jesus… to be a Prince and a Savior, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins… Ye… fight against God" (Acts 5:30-39).
How great are
the blessings God lists
For all who
repent and surrender!
How blind is the
one who resists
The Lord who
would be his Defender!
Iniquities may
be forgiven
Before we
descend to the grave,
But those who
fight God shall be driven
To death without
grace that would save.
The one who says
evil is good,
Declaring that
wrong is now right,
Has certainly
not understood
How hopeless he
is in this fight.
Lord Jesus, our
Prince and our Savior,
Those fighting
forgiveness shall find
That they have
rejected Your favor
By following
those who are blind.
