Victorious Vision

"Thine, O LORD, is the greatness… and in Thine hand is power and might; and in Thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all" (1 Chronicles 29:11,12).  "Thy Word is true from the beginning: and every one of Thy righteous judgments endureth forever" (Psalm 119:160).  "Where there is no vision, the people perish" (Proverbs 29:18).  "Faith is… evidence of things not seen… Through faith… Sara herself received strength… because she judged Him faithful who had promised" (Hebrews 11:11).

The vision so needful today

(That many do not understand)

Is given to those who obey

And trust in the Lord's mighty hand. 

The Word of the Lord has been tried,

And in every case is found true.

The prophets have all testified;

God did all He said He would do.   

Faith's principle that we should cherish

Is found in the proof our Lord gave, 

Dismissed by the people who perish,

And trusted by those He will save. 

Lord, grant us victorious vision

To lead us with strength You impart,

Like Sara who made the decision

To trust You with all of her heart.
